Velocity stage1 kit , anyone ?
Anyone using the Velocity stage 1 street kit ? Just wondering about cost and any problems with this system.Thanks !

i have a stage 2. i love it so far. lacks in the low end torque (compared to a turbo busa). i would assume that is because of the lowered compression also. i think the new gearing will help get it out of the hole. have not had it to the track yet, but hope to before the summer is over. mike

I tuned one and it was sweet

Does anyone know if its possible to get a complete Turbo kit, that will last and not melt under racing conditions for $4 or less ?

not a good quality kit. most want to install because of the frame/airbox mess.
johnycheese. what did you get for hp. just curious. i am putting mine on the dyno in a month or so to tune the low rpm stumble out of it. mike

Look at the Super Charger Kit thread. That is a complete kit for 4K and no extra Heat!

I will have to look. 8# boost was 260 I think. But that is why he came to me was for a little stumble. use a PC3 and only had to map 12 cells I think.
Barry likes it a 11.5:1 if you moved it to 12:1 I bet you would gain about 20HP.

i will try that. i am not sure where the cam timing is set or what is optimal. i am sure they set it up for land speed stuff, but i don't do that type of racing. thanks for the info.
