Bike mod pics, need opinions
Couldn't decide what to do with the front fender. After the crash it was a little scratched up so I decided to bust out the dremel, what do you guys think of the new look?
Rear brake caliper now in black, no more greenish-gold color on the rotor either
Here is the bike in it's current stage sans kawasaki on the gas tank

Ain't nothing wrong with that, looks fine to me. But about that muffler sticker...

If you didn't say anything I'm not sure I would have been able to put my finger on just what was different. You can definitely tell something isn't stock. I think it leans toward a minimalist look which I generally like.

Like the front fender silver, you did a good job. I don't like how plain the bike looks though. I have never been a fan of removing all the decals etc. But that's just my opinion.

I've also blacked my engine covers on my silver bike and was wondering about the calipers. Did you bead blast and paint them or just paint them? What are you going to do with the gold on the rotors? I think the gold looks good all over the red and slightly slower green ones, but not on the silver 12's.
I had a local shop scan and develop me a Akro sticker that goes on top of the factory one, It's the same except mine is silver where the other is trimmed in mustard yellow. Everyone who has seen it, likes it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I saw how another silver 12 looked without the decals and I thought it looked really clean. Then I decided to take off the Kawasaki on the tank and the only thing even letting on to what it is would be the Kawasaki sticker on the screen (thanks ZX12girl) and the Akrapovic on the pipe. It's been fun so far cause I've suckered a few poor unknowing souls into a roll on...hehe...

Looks Good Silver!!
You did a very professional looking job on the fender and I like the black engine covers too. I suggest the traditional rim strip on the wheels for some more contrast. The polished lip on the rims looks great on the red wheels and should look as striking on the black wheels.

Wow....great job on the fender. The bike looks real nice.
I agree with Harry....I really like Silver. I like Green too but I do have this thing for RED!  Heh heh....

Take the Akra sticker off.
Say....how bout takin the sticker off your pipe? The ONLY thing I don't like about the Akrapovic....is the sticker.

I'll be glad to show some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it! I've got a scanner and/or a digital camera, which is the better way to post? I believe you folks will like the decal.
