Ass*holes are like...uh...ass*holes...everybody's gotta be one...even the ones who think they're not ass*holes...to someone else, they're ass*holes...some more complete than others...by the way, when cops go to the police acedemy, there's a special class they have to take on how to be an ass*hole...

...you see, no one is actually born an ass*hole, although the potential for being one exists in all of us...and you really don't have to work at being an ass*hole...it comes through osmosis...either you have potential for it or not...being an ass*hole is a learned trait, sorta' like bigotry and racism...some people are passive ass*holes...some people are active ass*holes...some people are ass*hole wannabes...some people are ass*hole personified...some are the smallest ass*holes and some are the biggest ass*holes...of course, the ultimate and most hated is the muthafuckin' dickhead ass*hole ass*wipe...which poses the question: look deep inside...which type of ass*hole are you?...no, not just you, outlaw, everybody out there!...well?

SOme of you may like this! About 15 years ago (45 years old) I was on my 1984 900 Ninja heading out to Peggys house. Seriously cooking, I think I passed an off duty policeman. A few days later, in the same stretch of road, I am doing about 90 coming out of the turn and see something in the median. The guy shines his lights on and then blocks the road and I come to a stop! The young policeman (About 25 to 30 years old) jumps out of his car and comes up to me (You all know the swagger walk) saying "You are never going to live to be a ripe old age riding that motorcycle like that Young man" I then pull off my helmet and he see that I am already a "Ripe Old Age" and maybe older than his dad! He tries to speak, but missed the first words and finally says Drivers License and registration.

The neat thing here is his lecture was completely over and I had shut him up! Since I knew I was getting a ticket anyway, I also pulled out my AMA Expert Road Race license with the #69 on it and said, By the way, I am ranked 69th best Motorcycle Road Racer in the country and regularly travel at speeds of 175 mph, so if there is anyone out here tonight that actually has the skill to speed, it is me!!

The ticket was $200 he did not show up in court!

...I would've showed up in court anyway...just to hear the judge say, "Now Mr. Hill...you may be the 69th fastest motorcycle racer in the nation, but this here street isn't a race track...guilty as charged...$200...don't forget to pay on your way out." ...but hey, that's just me ...especially if someone tries to justify their illegal actions with some racing card or type of vehicle they're operating....but maybe it was different back in the days of Smokie and the Bandit and Discos and bell-bottomed thick corduroy velour pants

Like some kid told me the other night after we stopped him for speeding a swearving as he tried to entice another rice-rocket-road-burner to a race in his brand new Mitsubishi Turbo.

I said, "Turn off your engine."

"But I can't."

"Why?"

"Because it says in the owner's manual that I should let the it idle for at least a minute or two after high speed operation."

"Do you know why we're stopping you?"

"Uh...no."

"We're stopping you for speeding and..."

"B-b-but I wasn'..."

"Speeding?...You just told me why you couldn't turn off your engine."

"B-b-but the car was meant to be driven that way....and I have my SCCA license."

"Uh huh...turn off the engine NOW...you should 've kept your driving talent on the race-track...this roadway is not your personal race-track...and I'm not concerned about your engine right now....I'm concerned that you might run on us."

"I bet you guys couldn't catch me...this thing has over 300 horsepower."

"Maybe, but I wouldn't try it...this your second command...turn it off NOW."

And with that, he gets a coupon and a re-evaluation of driving request form...he had a bad driving record. Then he hands me the owner's manual and shows me the page where it says the car needs to idle for a bit after HIGH-SPEED operation before turning it off. That goes into our notes.

The story you have just read is true. No names were mentioned to protect the "innocent' until proven "guilty".

Just another day on the job...still...your's is a funny story, Vince

...btw...after determining that he wasn't a flight risk, I let him idle his Evolution for a bit...besides, I'm a car-freak, too...hey, punish the driver, not that sweet car ...yeah, yeah, yeah...we don't punish out there...that's the court's job...but you know what I meant...so no flaming

I "Know" about the "Attitude" Test, but I also know when someone has their mind made up (which was the case here) I showed the race license just to take away the thought "Maybe he has lived to be a ripe old age by being lucky!" With the Race license, he knew it was skill!

Sort of like the story where the Policeman pulls over a car and walks up to the driver and slaps him upside his head and asks for his drivers license and Registration. Then slaps him up side the head and asks him why he was driving so fast! After issuing a ticket, he goes over to the passenger and Slaps him up side the head! The passenger asks why he did that? The Policeman says, I was just granting your wish! The passenger really pissed says, what wish?? The policeman says "When you drive off and get a few miles down the road, I know that you are going to tell the driver "I wish he had of done that to me!"

That was a great story! Cops got it tough but it is nice to see em on their heels every now and again like the rest of us. Especially the little ones still in the larva stage. Nothing worse than a little bee moth PoPo all fired up to put the wack on some "suspects".

You are an enigma? Yikes.
Sounds like a show on CBS that would be cancelled in like 3 epsiodes starring either Don Johnson or William Shatner. I can hear the preview now.
"He rides in and plys his craft on those with serious criminal intent. Yet he is an enigma. A lone wolf destined to fight the battle of good vs evil. Young women beware he is a crime fighter with a heart of stone. Young boys take heart, for his uniform is very tight in all the right spots and the dialogue, uniquely homo-erotic. This week an all new shower scene with cuffs! Have you been bad? They don't call it a night stick for nuthin' mister. Tune in and watch officer enigma ride hard!"

Of course after CBS cans the show there would be a huge letter writing campaign from the fellas and it would be picked back up on the WE or Lifetime which would be huge relief to advertisers of chocolate candies and mens facial mosturizer products.
