new 2 12

Hi all,Picking up the new ZX12 in 2 wks max. Any advice for a new owner?
You lot happy with the 12, any probs?

Have owned a modded GPz900 for ages, only prob with the 12's I've test ridden is they don't seem as comfy as the 9. How's long distance comfort?

A corbin seat might help you for longer trips. Just not as good in the twisties because of the saddle shape, vice the stock seat. Helibar makes some risers that will bring the bars up a bit for you as well.

I've got the Helibars & it helps a TON! Almost makes it a "sport-tourer" for long distance rides...

I disagree with the corbin.. seat is very nice IMHO... braided lines and EBC HH pads are a must.

just ride it easy till you can get a good feel for its power then LET IT RIPP
set the forks and rear shock up to pput you like or that feels good to you then it will be a lot easyer to handle in the curves and flat out
if you are short (under 6feet tall) get a set of lowering links from muzzy it will help
TC just going faster by the day to bad winter is coming to Germany
