tragedy that could have been prevented

those with kids & atvs should teach those children safe riding practices.

like no passengers, safety gear, helmets, etc
no public roads, not riding the thing after dark, etc

any of the last things mentioned, could easily have saved 6 families from being shattered

teach them right, and if you see people screwing up, give them a few minutes of your time. especially when kids are involved.

Terrible.........

That is tragic to say the least. I see it all the time here where I live. ATVs are everywhere here, and you rarely see anyone wearing a helmet while operating them. Just yesterday my wife and I were out in the yard and a dirtbike with a young boy riding it came flying by being chased by two smaller boys on a rather large ATV. I was pissed and told her that bullshit pisses me off. She asked what??? I said that none of those kids had a helmet on, and that neither vehicle was made to be ridden on the street.

These kids parents have got to be some boneheaded motherfuckers to allow their kids to do stuff like this. I'll shut up before I really get pissed............

So sad....

I feel for everyone in that situation. The families of those poor kids have got to be just devistated. I still cannot believe there were that many kids on one ATV???? Not to mention the fact that they were riding it on the highway. Awful.....
