It might be possible, but if you want to do it right and safely (not risk scratching your knuckles or bodywork)... well, you know what you'll have to do.

I've done it couple times without removing anything than the little peace of bodywork around the fork tubes. I think the problem are the couple of lower triple tree bolt. But I've alwasy managed to get the opened and closed without too much trouble.

I've never been able to do it without removing the front fairing. The top clamp is easy, but I have issues getting to the lowers with the fairing on. I just got really really good at taking off and installing all of my fairings.

I usually use a tie dow to lift the frontend and I'd think that it is also a little bit more stable. You can check the pictures from 'library' under topic fork oil change...

Which Pitbull stand do you have GOZR?

If you have the new Front Stand... its a breeze. If you have the conventional one... good luck to ya.

The upper fairing is easy to remove. After you take the lowers off, it's only the ram air tube clamps and the mirrors holding it on. Take those off, disconnect the wiring harness and it comes right off. I can go from race bodywork to street bodywork in about 30 minutes.

I had to lift the front of the bike with my hands and than place the stand..
alone.. the bike was secure on the rear stand to ovoid any bad balance right and left.

Pitt bull suck.. but luckly the 12 was much lighter than i though!
