What a joke...
...just got back from the LongBeach Int'l Motorcycle Show...bought a few accessories for my head...saw a couple of bikes that caught my eye...Buell Firebolt and Yamaha R1...Kawasaki?...what a freekin' joke!...WTF?...that disco-ball-of-a-bike 12R was absolutely shameful!...what a waste on such a great bike...I liked the new dark-bluish color on the 02'12R...the whole bike looks much better in person...I think I'll be getting those mirrors to retro-fit on my 12R......wish the wheels and swingarm were black, though...HO-HUM...about the only exciting thing ddpete and I did was push my 4500lb car about 200yards to get gas...OOOPS!!!my bad...sorry Doug!...you're a great sport!...oh yeah, and checked out the Hooters Girls!!!!!

let me tell u a little something about booth babes. the ones ya got at bikes shows r nuthin compared to what they got in a freakin COMPUTER show in tokyo. every booth from a larger vendor had a gaggle of VERY cute local college girls (told thats where they get most of them). Real Networks in particular had them in VERY tight and short dresses. spent most of the expo doin my impression of homer dreaming of doughnuts

I was at the show today which as a Kawasaki enthusiast I found to be immensely depressing.
Looks like Kawasaki have lost interest in the motorcycle business and given in to Honda and Yamaha. No wonder they're merging with Suzuki...
R1 was great. Yam Warrior looked fun. Honda 919(?) naked bike looked very nice. Too much hype around the VRod although it looked pretty good. New zx12 had some nice if subtle changes. I thought the black/blue was beautiful but those Gold wheels...yeech. Some of the BMW's looked pretty good too. And I'll take a Ducati anyday.
Anyway after todays show, I'm going to be looking at other brands much more closely from here on in. Kawasaki...time is running out to show what you can do...
