Sega Dreamcast
Well... we have had this fer 2 years.... I havent played it that much since we got it as I've been busy with werk... but friends at werk brought in their PS2 so I've had a chance to use that fer a while.... well.. IMHO the Dreamcast is every bit as good as the PS2, or the other new offerings I have seen... whata shame that such a nice piece of gear was squashed by giant marketing campaigns...
you can buy one new for $79 CDN here now! Anyone with half a brauin would buy the Sega before they dropped 500 bucks on the other systems.... if only they still had them set up side by side....people might see that they are being bamboozled....
perfect case in point is my TurboExpress handheld game thing.. .made in 1990.... gameboy "advanced" is now only coming close to it's quality... and the picture is STILL better on the TurboExpress!

well, thats why the dreamcast still has such a huge following & still had games developed for it. theres just so many people who really like it. having said that, i played the ps2 a tiny bit in japan, & it was killer to say the least. played a rally game that damn near looked real.

me too.. then I realized that I own Sega Rally 2, which I havent played for a year.... .just tried it... exactly the same as the PS2 rally game IMHO... funny that I have it sitting here and never thought of it...

You can buy copied games for it that play without any mod chips needed or anything.. pretty cheap too

I have both. and i have to say i got the ps2 because i had already played all the dreamcast games. the sports on dreamcast are the BEST!! but now sega is making the same games for the ps2. soooooo my dreamcast is on the top shelf in the closet.
it looks like the xbox is better than the ps2 , i hear playstain 3 is coming out.  :
i will not buy another system. at least not until it is the dominant machine.(games available). I will stick with ps2 for now

Is that Turbo Express thing still available? I'm looking for something to play at work. Is it something that has many games available? This could be the answer. Think I'll scope out E-Bay.

the xbox is WAY to big (physically) ... not to mention it's ugly, and heavy.. IMHO

I sold my Dreamcast cause I never played it. I wish I had it back now. I miss Y2K Football really bad.
