I must say that I am very displeased with the owner Rico. Many months ago I gave him a deposit of $300, and he made me an all carbon airbox for my '01' 12R. When I received the airbox, I was unhappy with its quality. I called Rico about my concerns, and he told me to return the airbox and he'd make me a new one with an additional layer of carbon fiber. About a month later, I had still not received my new airbox. I called Rico about it, and he said it was completed and in the box ready for shipping. I asked him why it hasn't been shipped yet, and he responded, "I've been so busy lately that I just haven't had the time to send it to you, but I'll send it out right away". As a courteous customer, I told him not to go out of his way but please send the airbox "fairly" soon. About a month after this call, I still hadn't received the airbox and no longer had a need for it. I called Rico and told him that I'd like my $300 deposit back, and he said he would send it to me. A few weeks after this call, I had still not received my refund. I called Rico and asked him if he'd sent me the money, and if so, when it was sent. He told me on this call that he was "broke" because he had to fork out $5K on his father-in-law's funeral, as he did not have insurance. I sympathized with Rico, and politely asked him when he would be able to send me the money. He said, "I'll have the money in 10 days, and I'll send it to you". Well, this was over a month ago, once again, and I have still not received my refund nor a response call to the three messages I have left for him on his cell phone at (305)-799-9492 (given to me by Nei). I've also called him SEVERAL times at his business at (786)-2930-6544, and nobody ever answers, not even an answering machine or voicemail. Needless to say, as a once very loyal customer of SafeTech, I would never buy another carbon fiber part from Rico. He could at least return my calls; I'm sure he and I could work something out so that I could get my money refunded and he wouldn't have to see more complaints like this one. I hope Rico reads this and has the common decency to call me and discuss the reason why I've still not received my money. I really don't care if he made me a 2nd airbox or not (who knows if he really did). All I want is my refund. Rico, if you read this, call me to discuss (815)-772-1450 days or (815)-625-9010 evenings.

That got fucked by them! Sad to see shit like this happen.At least you spread the word to keep it from happening to others.

That's too bad what happened. I was/am very happy with my safe tech hugger and fuse box cover. The quality is great. His buisness style is somewhat unprofessional, but seems like a nice guy. I hope it all works out.
