Throttle value on pc3R software.

On the throttle value to be at O% i set it at "54" than to be at 100 i set it to "213"( originaly 214).

I went for 3 days on a map with "0" ignit advance than the third day i look into my map "get curent" and i see "3" everywhere instead of "0".

The bike was cooghing a bit at 3 to 20 % throttle.

reloaded at 0 value .. will try again tomorrow but i think the bike is telling me to buy a Muzzy advancer....

Gozr, you're doing it wrong. Just set push the correct button when "closed" and the other when "open" and finish.
Don't pay any attention to the numbers that result.
The threes are correct as a starting point.

The numbers aren't percent, just a value if I remember correctly. Also, some software had a bug that switched the wide open and fully closed buttons on the throttle setting window. If I go through the steps for setting the throttle position like they tell you to, I end up with 100% showing at the top of my screen when idling. I have to hit the "throttle open" button when the throttle is actually closed and vise versa. I've heard of several others with this software problem. I hope I made sense to you here.

I dont recall which is which (top or bottom) but the LOWER number should be the closed one. There should be a "set" or something button next to each number in the software.

(On a side note...I cant open it up to give you screenshots on this laptop...it would seem that without the PC3 connected to it....you cant open the adjustment screen)

Same Topic Different ?

Any advantage/disadvantage to setting the wide open (full) setting so it reads 103-105 at full throttle ?

Disadvantage only in that it isn't right. You are assuming that there is some meaning to the number vis a vis 100%. There is not. Just follow the instructions and let the numbers be whatever they are. They will then be "correct" for your bike.

Try it a couple of times.

Wring the throttle back and forth (making sure to hit the stop on the WOT mark with some force).

Then run the Throttle set again. I had to do it 3 or 4 times before I got a perfect 0 - 100
