Just put new Avon 45/46 under my bike...
As said yesterday finally put the Avon:s new ST tires in 120/70 and 200/50 under the ZX. Only have something like 40km with them but so don't know about the grip because took it quite easilly to break them in. But the first impressions were positive. They turn quite easilly - not as fast as the Pilot Sports but are predictive. Especially the beginning of the turn in is good because the front tire is very triangular but the rear is rouder that the Michelins so it slows thing a bit. And also one thing is that the Avon is really 200mm wide in the rear where as the Pilot Sport 200 is really 190! So for solely a tigth stuff it dosen't seem as good but the difference isn't very big. About the mileage don't obviosly know yet but at least the rear tire has about 30% more thread that any other brand: Pilot Sport, D207, 010, Pirellis MTR. So it promises good but really don't know yet. More on later when I have more miles...

avon certainly arent known for superior grip, but as long as ithey'r good enough for the riding u do, then who wouldnt want more mileage? only thing that bothers me about having mroe tread is the tires must be heavier.
