Weapons Grade Plutonium?

The Marines have found what appears to be weapons grade Plutonium. They have tested the materials using two different methods available to them in the field. And both tests are positive. They will sending a sample to the States now. The cache of Plutonium was revealed by local residents to the Marines in an underground facility near Al Tuwaitha SE of Baghdad.

And the complex it was hidden in was built 4 years ago.

Interesting civilians are pointing this stuff out.

And the Arabs talk about their righteous indignation about have US come in a clean Saddam out. Looks like to me the normal Iraqi in the street is glad to see him gone.

We just better set up an Iraqi gov't and then get the hell out.

I wonder if the container that housed the plutonium was written in French, German or Russian?

I doubt it, we've always kept the best toys for ourselves. We haven't even given that stuff to Israel.

One advantage to having disarmed Iraq is that we will likely have a permanent base there now with the new Government that will be formed. This base will help stabilize the middle east and our efforts to fight terrorist activities there.

I would suspect the plutonium came from Russia. They have embraced capitalism and enhanced their coruption. Especialy former KGB and Military Generals.

The U.S. "gived" plutonium to Iraq, eh? I'm sure there is alot of evidence to back that up. Would love to see it.

Hmmm...that kinds sounds familiar, eh? (damn. I'm even typing Candian. Next thing you know I'm going to be saying "Aboot".)

Before anyone jumps on GOZR for his english perhaps they should try posting in French. My hat is off to anyone that is even reasonably competent in more then one language.

I'm still waiting for the evidence of our weapons grade plutonium "gift". If anyone wants to spew wild BS, at least have a little bit of collaborating facts. As for speaking French on here: fu*k that!!! I'll stick to my English on here and Spanish for at work.

The problem with you 12R is you just don't watch the right channels and or read the right (oops I mean left newspapers). If you did you would realize that in 1987 we delivered 700 tons of weapons grade Plutonium to Saddam, with 75 B-1 and 75 B-2 bombers. At the same time we set up biological and chemical weapons labs and stocked them with the lastest technology and base stock to insure Saddams success. We then at that time also provided Saddam the keys to the strawberries.

uh... we didn't deliver B-2 bombers to ANYONE but us. They are the new "Stealth Bombers". Only the US has em. I highly doubt we gave him 75 B-1 bombers either---- I'll have to check on that one. As for the "weapons grade plutonium" - no way. Where dfid you hear that Z??

I apologize, I'm a smart ass! I thought the strawberries would be the tip off, let alone the 700 tons of weapons grade plutonium.
