I know I know, Harleys have come a long way, especially since they now have the Mighty V-Rod. I can't help raggin' on them though, it's just too much fun.

The only Harley ever worth a shit, was one we took in trade (in 1973 when I worked at the local Kwak shop) It was a full dressed one with a suicide clutch and a hand shifter. That was the most ill handling, dangerous, slow, no braked, vibrating pile of crap ever. AND because of that it was a hoot to ride. I have done some scary shit on a bike in my day, but that thing would get the adrenalin pumping each and every time you tried to ride it.
