I did some testing this weekend & Have a Question?
Believe it or not, I fell extremely restricted from speaking on "Some" Subjects on the site because of the "politics". I wanted to transfer the Thread I posted with the Pics RAC4IT Posted, but felt the need to ask the POWERS THAT BE, if it is "OK" The Subject is Bear Original Stacks, Vs New Stacks vs Stock Boots and what my results were. There were also two side notes, the Power Commander Ignition map went straight to hell, giving me "Plus & Minus" 20 degrees of advance. Second are the Pictures of the 2 ridges / obstructions between the Fi throttle bodies and the Intake Boots and the Boots and the Head. I have gotten smart enough over the years to know "Do not remove metal until you know what the results are!"
To the Web Site Gods, Look at Labusas and let me know!

I read you post over on Labusas and it was pretty interesting. Don't know anything about limiting your politics around here. But the info you posted is interesting. If I understand corectly you are at nearing 190 horsepower with the only mods being a pipe, power Comamnder, mapping and stacks. That is a heck of a lot of horsepower. Congrats on that.

You know Vincent even if the stacks didn't work the purple is bad ass. So the fact they work makes them very sweet!! I would be really careful using silicone to plug the holes. I have seen some real disasters when the silcone fails. And I am confused on the wax paper thing. Not sure how you could keep it from being vacuumed into the engine.

VH.,
very cool pix, and great write up on LAB. I sure don't know what politics would prevent you from posting your dyno-day results here?????
BTW, forget the Hindle, forget the stacks... You didn't tell us you are running Fitch, THAT's where all that hp is coming from, eh?

#1, the Wax paper was to allow the silicone to "CURE" WIth a Smooth finish!
I like the "Fitch" Joke! It must be good for 10 HP, because the Pipe and stacks are only good for 23 I really believe from the test that it helps keep the fuel from going south over the winter! Notice that you cannot see 1 decal with the tank cover on!
I really plan to look into those ridges, check my cams and try some VP Oxygenated fuel and see if 190 HP Is possible? Takes a lot of power to pull this much lard!
Last, I checked my wiring and saw that I also have the Oil leak. I do not have the time to fix it myself, so I will be taking the Bike to the dealer naked and they know better than to even start it because they will not have the key!

Never! That is why there is no key and everything is apart! I hope that they can handle the glueing ok by them selves! I will check their work later! This will be the first time the bike is ever in there shop since new! They have known me there for 30 years and know better than anyone How I am!
