muzzy question

will a gutted muzzy titanium exhaust yield less power due to the lack of back pressure? I kow it sounds good, lol

the packing helps power as it makes it more like a straight pipe. makes it harder for exh to flow into the can. i read on another board about a guy wrapping the inside with header wrap and it will make it really loud, ive neve tried it tho.

It is a common thing to remove the Cat section (it's a bitch), and on my Bonneville production bikes where the rules require a stock size exit, I had a 1" or so steel rod that was sharpened on one end which I drove down the center of the muffler, In some, I then ran a straight piece of tubing down through the muffler to form a straight exit without interference from the baffling. Worth 3-5 hp on a single muffler,around 6 on two. Sounds nice.

It sure does sound good...

I won a loudest motorcycle competition with the baffle & end cap out...The Harley Doods thought they had it locked up till I twisted the throttle into the rev limiter a few times
