definitely a loose connection or low voltage on the battery.

that click /buzz is a chatter produced by the contacts pulling in, making the crcuit, passing power to the starter, then the satarter pulling so much power the voltage drops below the "latch" point of the solenoid, and jhe magnetic field gets too weak to hold the contacts closed.. it drops out, opens the contacts, which instantly resorts power at the battery and as long as you're holding the button in, it'll act like a buzzer.

closely look at you ground wire at the frame, motor 9(r whereever it mounts to) the battery, and all the heavy wires running from the battery to the starter.
meter it and make sure theres 12V at the battery.

i bet it'll fire right up if ya jump start it..

if and when you do get it started, you should make approx 14-14.5V at about 4000-6000rpm.

if you're not, then you've got something loose, unplugged otr a charging system issue.

good luck man!! keep us posted..

Doesnt' make sense for a new battery to be dead in 2 weeks? Was it not properly charged to the point where it would go dead in 2 weeks? Does the battery still look new? Hope you get it squared away, at least test the battery.

Best of luck!

Sometimes they just hand to ya thinking it will have enough charge to start the bike and go riding will eventually charge it up....But since it sat for 2 weeks , it probably went dis charged.....I charge a new batter for at least 8 to 12 hours a slowly as possible 1 amp per hour....

if your batt does not hold the charges after sitting around for 2 weeks, i guess like me , it is time to change the magneto coil and alternator, as for the batt you can keep it since you say you just change. i did all the changes just weeks ago, one time changing all 3 stuffs. should had done that 4 years back when the wiring to the alternator starts burning ..........
