zx10 front end on a zx12?

Does a xz10 front end(forks, wheels, etc.) bolt on to a zx12? If so how much lighter is than a 12?

The pursuit of light weight continues..........

I would PM "Impressive" on the zx12.org...or kawiforums...or whatever its called. He had the 04/05 front end with the 04/05 swingarm too. Felt light in the corners. He hadn't finished it 100% last I rode it years ago....there were still some minor clip-on to fairing clearance issues, but I wasn't exactly going lock to lock in the corners.

Its been some time now but I want to say the entire swap with the wheels was over 10 lbs....I just don't remember the exact numbers but I'm pretty "impressive" does.

I did not have a before comparison weight but with a full muzzy exhaust, car fib muzzy muffler, half tank of gas it weighed 500lbs on the scales. You know I still have not fixed the gigs but ride it all the time with no adverse effects. The fairing only come into play in tight turning slow speed moves. I don't like the fact of no bump stops but oh well, you only live once lol.

Yeah, it was all I could come up with as I don't need anymore attention from the state police at the truck scales lol.
