Newb question bolt on VS slip on
Igot the bike used and the PCIII came with the bike. I was going to load the map " D&D slip on with after market airfilters" into my PCIII usb. But when I went to load the map it already had a map of "Yosh bolt on exhaust with after market air filters"
The bike does have a Yosh slip on can. So my question is does slip on and bolt on mean one is a full exhaust IE bolt on? or will the map say "full exhaust" and bolt on is interchanged with slip on?
sorry if this is a silly question it's all just new to me.

1st of all, your map will probably not be ideal. Tuning it (dyno, real world, etc) would be better. There is no real way for you to know if one map is "better" than the other. I can call a map akra map and it may be better for your bike, worst, or about the same.
2nd, a bolt on is just that, it "bolts on" to your stock exhaust. Remove your muffler canister and bolt the other on. A slip-on implies theu use of some sort of mid-pipe to connect to your headers. A zx12 greatly benefits from a full exhaust as the headers are quite restrictive so look into that when you can. Plenty of affordable used ones around if you are patient.
