ZX7R swingarm is 30mm shorter than the 12's swingarm. It's hell for stout, too. And cheap, I bought mine for $30

What I want to know is......does it fit at the swing arm pivot without any mods, or do you have to shim it ,or WHAT????? I don't want the swingarm,I want the RAM swingarm that they NEVER MADE FOR THE 12!!!!(but they have one for the 7 & 9)

Are you sure the RAM swingarm isn't available? And I should be able to tell you today if the swingarm will need to be shimmed. One good sign is that they use the same bearings in the swingarms, so there won't be any horking around with that. Just went out and measured, looks very close. Best measurement I could get said both swingarms are 257mm wide. Since the bearings are the same, that means that the swingarm pivot bolt is the same diameter.

GG, if the RAM fits the 7,and the 7 fits the 12,then it should work?!
SWFT, I was in touch w/ Dino @ram since before the 12 came out....they said spring 2000,then summer 2000 then fall 2000and so on....they got to the point where the mold was made(so they say) but they wouldn't take it any further. He said they have a problem w/ KWAK,,cuz they change things frequently,and their models all differ,whereas zooks and yams have a lot of interchangeable parts. They say the kwaks are not very "aftermarket" friendly.
