Yes, that's the 87mm billet block on a stock stroke. We have customer that put at least 20 passes (that's 100 miles at full throttle) on this block (as a 1427) at Bonneville this year with no problems at all.

Do you offer custom nitrous pistons for the new billet bigblock for use in combination with the standard (original) stroker crankshaft? I might have to upgrade What would that make.. 1410cc?

RAC,
No, we don't have specific nitrous or turbo pistons for the big block.
Mega,
Any numbers would be meaningless because they depend on that engine combination ONLY. That engine was built to the owner's requirements and wouldn't be indicative of what COULD or would be acheived with a different combination.

To Doug: did you guys just build it and hoped it would work?

I'm not trying to be difficult, I just need good information in order to make the best decision on a big bore. All I'm asking for is the same level of openest, accuracy and truth in advertising as demonstrated in your 1361 add shown below. Your silence makes it appear that you don't believe in your product?

"Muzzys has created a new kit for the ZX-12 owner who just can't get enough! This kit includes everything you need to turn your ZX-12R into a 210 horsepower monster. Like wheelies? Over 120 lbs. ft. of torque at 7500 rpm ought to provide all you need. Want low end power for those "tough" situations? How about 100 hp at 5000 rpm? It's a straight shot from there to 210 hp at 10,000 until you hit the rev limiter! This is street-able controllable horsepower that creates a well mannered monster out of your ZX-12R. This kit contains everything you need. It is a true boltin; no machine work is required. The pistons are compression specific for this
stroke and give a street-able 13:1 compression ratio. The kit contains a crankshaft with a stroke increase of 4mm, special base spacer and gasket, 2.4mm oversize pistons, rings, clips, head gasket and a bored and re-plated cylinder. There is a core charge applicable to your crankshaft and cylinder. A Power Commander 3 (available separately) is required and an appropriate map is supplied with the kit. Price is an affordable $1,995.95"

Mega,
Any numbers would be meaningless because they depend on that engine combination ONLY. That engine was built to the owner's requirements and wouldn't be indicative of what COULD or would be acheived with a different combination.

hahahaha,,,,,,of course they have (REAL) numbers!!! Just think if adding 70cc (1270 kit) makes another 35hp for 195hp according to Muzzy and members here, then 50cc more (1317 kit) would be at least another 25hp for a grand total of 220hp with JUST PISTONS!!!! I think you should get the kit!!! These muzzy piston kits with a Muzzy pipe really make the hp!!!! Just think i could have avoided over $5000.oo in parts alone if i had gotten the muzzy kit and then still made more HP........I wish i would have ask Doug what to do first,,,,
