Just installed my PCIIIr loaded the 2002 Akro map (Hindle Stealth System on 2002 12r)...what is a good timing setting?...and when i come off the gas between 5500 rmp's and 6500 rpm's my bike is backfiring...how do i fix that?..i will say that the akro map has cleared up my flat spot..so far i'm very happy with the PCIIIR..my man VOZIZM helped me out alot with the install...thanks VOZS

Try adding fuel (at LEAST 10) at 0% and 2% throttle from 4,000rpm up...
It might take as much as 25-30 in some cells...

We have a bolt-on advancer (not a PC3R) set at +4*...

I "Never" want to disagree with da man Kcadby, BUT I have done a :LOT" of work in this area and find that it is SEVERLY Lean at 5,700! Like he says, 0 & 2% , plus %5
0% 5K +30 5.5K +45 6K +40 6.5K +30
2% 5K +20 5.5K +40 6K +35 6.5K +25
5% 5K +15 5.5K +35 6K +30 6.5K +20
10% 5K +10 5.5K +30 6K +25 6.5K +15
20% 5K +5 5.5K +20 6K +15 6.5K +10
Try this lad let me know! It should be close it is sort of a Cliff Carr and VA Hill mapping that is like adding an accelerator Pump when closed!
If you have popping at higher RPMS when letting off of the gas, add 10% at 0% Throttle on up! Most 12's have plenty of fuel up to 5K , but over 5K, they are bone dry at very small throttle settings Specially at 5.7K
Forgot to "ADD" that if you had an 00 or 01, I would suggest removing 5% (At a time) across the scale to get lean and then +2% until correct! You Having an 02, I suggest to make adjustments by removing 10% until lean then adjust +5% until close then 2% adjustments! I feel that the Fuel Curve! is where it should be, the amounts are the part that are unknown (to me) for an 02! Everyone using my map is 100+% happy with power mileage and control!

Try what Vince says...for sure...
The numbers I gave are for deceleration only...
The 02s DO run richer than the "early models"
