yay! my bike is ok...sorta went up to pemberton ta get my bike from the tow yard today & drop it off at a freind's farm. after a bit of coaxing with a bad electrical switch, the thing started up no problem. ran fine. frame does indeed looks to b straight, as do the forks and swingarm. thought the brakes were toast but now it just looks like dirt in the lever. one downside was the rad cap base looks to be bent a touch. hope i can bend that back so the rad cap seals. one of the fairing stay mounting tabs broke off the frame, thats my biggest concern at this point. but i figure that can b welded on. subframe is taost as i expected. basically need new gen cover (touch of oil commin thru), all plastics, prolyl lights (the entire housing & lenses r actually untouched except the mounting tabs snapped off). plugged the dash back in (flew off in crash & busted the speedo & clock lense) & it worked fine! even kept the correct time (i think), man, did 557km that day till the crash. full exhaust is fucked too. but that seems to be it. a new pipe & gen cover & i'll be ready to street fighter her next season. yay!
fuck, i laughed so when it started up. was just funny to me.

Those bikes seem to fire up no matter how hard you slam 'em down, I hit the starter on mine and shook my head when mine fired right up after it went sky diving. I had to reshape the radiator opening to get the cap to seal again too. After I did that it held pressure, even though the radiator itself looked like a used aluminum accordion.

Conjures pics of Freek sliding down the road on his ass as the bike does flips and twists and genrally pummels itself into the pavement. Again. ____________
