Sub $200 wave brake discs on E-Bay
I'm pretty sure it already have been discussed (sorry...) but does someone already bought and tested those front discs from Hong-Kong?
Are they worth buying or it's better to pay more for known brands?

Zumina, is it your perception or did you (or a friend) indeed got bad experience with those Hong-Kong rotors?

Don't buy them, they are junk !!! You know the expression, you get what you pay for !!! I installed them on 2 of my friends bikes, one a Suzuki and one Kawasaki, both squealed everytime you hit the brake from day one and nothing we did could stop it. The rivots that hold the rotor together also started rusting along with the disc. My opinion is the metal compounds used to make these rotors are sub-standard, even when compared to stock rotors. Do yourself a favor and spend a couple hundred extra dollars and get the real deal.

Experience. A friend of mine bought a 99 ZX6r with warped rotors and decided to replace them with hong-kong rotors. They rusted FAST (never ridden in rain, just the humidity in the air!) and warped with HH pads.

get some galfers. pricey, but they perform! stock ones lost more of their bite at high speeds. with the glafers i could have the front tire chirping at 170
