This the bottom mount, its look crude, but it function. The 12lve mount i didnt cut allt he of cause the kickstand bolts. I made this little bracket, and used both kickstand bolts to secure it. I did this with stuff laying around my shop. but with all our help,we make this transformation simple. well it was easy to me. but im always open to any susgestions any ideas. just wana make the next build better, im just the first step its possible to do this.(dinno)

I should have. I measuerd from the top of the throttle bodies to the air box . Made sure they were level. then i put the chain on and shot a laser from the rear to the front, make sure the back tire is straight and locked down. then i shot it without the chain. you can tell which way to turn motor .it wont be much.once have it straight snug your mounting points .Check it agin and its good tighten it up. I use teflone nuts and i use thread locker also .The laser level i got at wal-mart it has tipods is real small but perfect for this job lol.oh yeah remeasure the top of the throttle bodies check and recheck take your time on this part.

The upper motor mounts i had to cut drill some holes .They line right up to it with no problems. For the vibration less than normal.Your stomach growling gives of more vibration than this build i was shock!!!! You will need the zx14 wiring harness ,computer ,of course the motor. I bought this motor with complete wirings harness off ebay for 1500.00 that was a steal. dude laugh at me when i told him what i was going to with it. well im laughing to. ill take a picture of that mount. i got a complete motor with throttle bodies .

12's are fast and can be made faster. but its nice to know that down the road when no one is making any thing for them. i can swap over to a 14 motor and have a power plant that company's are still doing r&d on and producing go fast parts for.

great for a na powerplant for drag racing(lots of torque with a 1570 ) but if im doing an all out power build in a few yrs ill keep the 12 motor and go turbo on it. Doug Ray had one making over 560hp...that would be enough for me.... for awhile

i have gone back and forth on building a turbo 10 i would love to do it with my 07. but with the kind of racing me and my son do here in nc. it would be a wast of $$$$. it would end up just sitting in the trailer...now a old beat up looking 8 year old 12 with a 1570 14 motor and my son riding is a $$$ making bike...lol

yeah agree with you on this brick......c95....this post is a valuable one. I also hadnt thought of doing this type of swap. Not saying it would be super easy for me but knowing it could be done without spending a fortune....mostly for motor....is a big +.
