I-75 from N. Florida to Tennesse

Has anyone been that way recently? If there's a lot of construction I want to take an alternate route.

tifton area, milepost 60-80 or so
zone, but not torn up. traffic was fine monday

around 215 or so another zone, again nothing bad, they are renovating the bridge at 221 (still)

take the bypass around macon, is 5 miles shorter.

do not take bypass around atlanta, is longer, and unless peak rush hour, no faster. most of times i have gone thru atlanta has been flowing 70-75, and limit is 55

about 320 or so is another little zone, before you get to dalton,\.not sure what they are doing there, i was paying more attention to the morons on the road by that point. (was dark out...)

this is from memory, so some of the numbers may be off a bit. north of macon you are pretty much all 3 lane until you get north of atlanta. but by that point traffic volumehas died off as well.

watch out about 10 miles into georgia, they appear to be podunk cops, use your cb, avoid the speedtraps

it sux a little around chattanooga, and i think just north of there is some construction too, but not near as bad as it used to be.

i usually take 24 west since i head up 27 towards 111 to go home.

anyway have a safe trip, nothing seems like it would stop traffic, but ask ahead on the cb, the drivers ought to know how it is flowing.

alt routes at that point are few and slow. 41 goes all the way up tochattanooga, but is riddled with podunk and such. 129 does same, again podunkia, and greenglenn can tell youmore about that road.

well have fun, see ya'll saturday
