Calling Jeroen

Jeroen is this for real?

I don't think so. Though this other Jeroen is also from the Netherlands, his "bio" makes no mention of a ZX11/ZX12R site or anything about owning either bike. As a matter of fact, it appears that this other Jeroen's first Kawasaki was a '00 ZX-6R.

I saw a lot of similarities between the two sites, but they hardly look identical. I'm sure that the dude at the ZX-6R.com probably did rip off some code from this other Jeroen's site, but if anything, the guy that supposedly ripped him off did a much better job and really cleaned up the "original" layout.

I didn't spend a whole lot of time at either site. I'm sure that if I looked harder, the "rip off" would have become more obvious. The only problem is that both sites, at first glance, seem to be more of the... how would I put it... "self promoting" in nature and offer very little that one could not easily find elsewhere.

Hell, they guy that "ripped" him off, even put a link to this other Jeroen site. Bold or just BS? Neither site has links to this site, Dale's or LA Busas, which I figure at least "our" Jeroen would do. I have little concern and tend to think that the above post from the other Jeroen is more likely just the whining of a 600 owner.

God, I hope that the case. This other Jeroen not only rides a 6R, but he's a frikkin' vegiterian!

Here's 'your' Jeroen: meat eater and ZX12R rider :-)
I'm not into 6's (although the 2003 looks nice), so that site isn't mine.
On a public medium like the net there's no way you can keep info to yourself. That's the whole reason of existence of the net. So if you put something on it someone else will probably use it too. That's no big deal as long as they tell where they've got it from, I guess.
Once a French guy copied my whole site. I found it out and asked him to remove it, which he did. No problemo.
So this other Jeroen mustn't complain, but solve it with that other guy.
I'll stop typing now, or this post will get as long as an average Redelk's post :-)
