As if my dog hasn't cost me enough money already!

Yep, woke up this morning to find this. I had $44 dollars on my nightstand, where I always leave my cash at night, and saw all the bills on the floor, the singles were untouched, she went for the $20's. Fuck. I'll try taping them together but the top one in the pic is missing a good part of the bottom of it. Damn, I love that dog but sometimes......

I saw a tv show about money once and they were talking about damaged bills...They said that if you have enough to prove it came from one bill, the gov't will redeem it....even bills damaged in a fire were made good as long as they could locate all 4 corners of each bill, it was replaced. I'd check with my bank to see if they will honor the bills.

I think you need most of the serial # to get redemption. The key part of that sentence is I think......

Look at the upside, at least she didn't eat $50 in coin and need surgery! Saw that on some animal show. Tou might want to at least have a talk with the dog, afterall as your mom told you when you were a kid, "you never know where that money has been or what kind of people have handled it!!"

...my dog licks his balls then gets his muzzle next to my face when we're on patrol...as if to say, "Look, I'm all clean...can you tell?"...and I yell, "Get away from me you freak!"...then he backs up in his container (which is the entire rear passenger compartment, aluminum paneled on all four sides) sticks out his tongue and wags his tail...I swear its a game for him and he's fuckin' with me...go figure

jason370...
Sorry, at the cost of $200.00 you and your dog made me laugh. I am glad your puppy is O.K.

Worm-hole... Maybe your dog is just showing off.

Otis... Well, Love hurts. And I guess it might have cost you some $$$ too.
Fish_Antlers took a washed bill missing peices to a special bank and we got it exchanged. It's a mathematical equation. If you have enough of the bill - you will get the credit for it. It's not personal - it's just math.

man I wish mine would just eat a couple 20's. One case of GDV (bloat) was 740.00 (and a shit lo9ad of worry for me), but would do anything for the big dopey dogs. of course now got to post a couple pics. Keep in mind they are about 10 weeks old in these ;-). MUCH bigger now.

...just a freindly reminder for those of you who don't know: DO NOT allow your dog to jump around and play after he's/dhe's eaten...DO NOT feed your dogs soon after strenuous activities/excercise...monitor how quickly and how much the dog gulps water after hyper activity...not heeding to these three bits of advice could lead to torsion/bloat...especially in large chested dogs...they're like kids, but they can't/won't tell you what hurting them...you just find out via 'different' behavior...or when it just too late...

Listen to that man, dobbies, danes (like mine), rotts, mastiffs and quite a few others get GDV, but even after taking precautions it can happen. If ya got a massive dog know the bloat signs basically.
