To the future of bikeland??? I have always supported groups & individuals with good intentions & similar interest.
I'd like to suggest that a method be devised whereas members can contribute whatever amount they are comfortable with to assure the longivity of bikeland?
It hasn't gone without notice that a few individual have professed a profound "family like" love for the site.
I would have a check in the mail tomorrow if a address were available?

the sentiment is appreciated ed, and the suggestion has bin made before on a few occasions. we just rnt comfortable on the whole "donation" thing. we r workin on puttin something together where people can contribute and get somethin out of it, but with all our schedules, it aint happening fast.

We dont (and never will) take donations from members. This site is meant to be "free" for all end users and we will keep it that way. We will never have a class system here where users get special privaledges because they paid... not our style... eveyone is equal, even if you're a famous super star, or just some Joe... so there.. thanks but no thanks for yer idea...
If you own a company and wish to purchase a banner ad, or use the pay-per-post forum to support the site then that's different.

Okay, let me ask, why the explosion of "nasty stuff" from you whenever anyone says the slightest thing you don't agree with??? Alot of us have been around for a while and alot have met personally, we consider each other friends. We call each other on occasion.. you get the drift. We will throw insults at each other, but they are meant in good fun. Getting a barage of "nasty stuff" kinda makes one reluctant to continue. Profanity is part of this board, and we use it freely, but usually don't direct it at each other. We keep racism away, it don't belong here...actually anywhere. You want in on the conversations?? When in Rome........

I will not put up with "post stalking". In other words, everytime someone posts, no matter what they said, someone else posts unrelated attacking comments towards that person. All this does is turns a potentially good thread into another pissing contest.
Until my small amount of authority is taken away from me, I will not stand for such BS. I do not wish to edit or delete posts and threads, but if such crap continues, I will. Everyone's opinions have been clearly heard. If a member continues to screw up, we will address the problem. No matter who the member is.
