Help! Urgently need reference for trusted and cost effective dealer in Seattle area?
Hi Guys and Gals!
Need a Seattle-area dealer/shop recommendation for 12R tire replacement ASAP!
Looks like I am replacing my still blown and being argued over with Kawasaki 12R with a like model purchased from an enthusiast in the Seattle area. I will be flying to Seattle and picking up the bike Friday then riding it cross country back to central Iowa--about 1850 miles in 4 days.
The bike still has original tires--D207s--at 4600 miles so I would like to line up a dealer to install new tires Friday AM before I leave Seattle.
Let me know as soon as possible the dealer name and general location/contact info if you can. If they know you, I would be glad to mention that you sent me so they know to appreciate you when you come in.
Thanks for the help!
Take care,
Mike

Wow...Hrmmm....Since I think you are buying the bike from the guy that works up at Fluke, and will prolly be going east on I90 when you leave town, I'd prolly recommend Bellevue Kawasaki.

Necromancer bought his bike from them, and is very loyal to the dealership. In turn, they have treated him right.

Thanks Swft!
Actually, I am purchasing bike from guy that is Insurance agent. He had PCIIIR installed and mapped by MVR. Super nice bike--fast green of course--4600 mi with Hans front/rear fenders, Muzzy exhaust, Mikuni rearsets, Magical racing mirror/turnsignals, undertail, etc. He sold for what dealer would give him on trade for BMW K1200RS--$6k.
If Kawi doesn't cover my bike under ext. warranty then that repair would cost me $5k, I figure just buy the other bike and if Kawi doesn't cover mine I may part it out.
Thanks for the reference!
Don't know if anyone in the area has time, but I would love to meet anyone in the area.
Take care,
Mike

I remember mapping this one! The carbon exhaust hanger on it he bought from me while we were mapping him! If I remember his front fender (at least at that time) was an ART carbon fender. He has a full Muzzy system on it with the Street can (less noise) on it.
What I remeber of the gentleman, he was a nice conservative insurance guy. You have definitely bought yourself a nice bike that has not been beaten at all.
