The OEM '02 and newer hub have different set of oil holes which are alot bigger than what Muzzy did and in a different place...
I dont have a lock up and warped steels is not really the problem, the size of the clutch plates and lack of oil is the problem...
KZ read the link above, hope it helps you!!!
I cannot say anything against Ryan Schnitz, Im a novice compared to him, but the clutch set up for him is not good for us!!!...I doubt he's getting more than 35 passes the way he rides the 12!!!

I see more trouble out of the muzzy set up than any other.
this is my opinion on the matter of the Muzzy kit causing problems. i was just getting into this stuff last yr, and made lots of beginner mistakes, so i know what its like.
after reading the add for the kit you think "hey this thing is bullet proof, i can thrash on it all day and not hurt it" which would be true if the clutch wasnt so sensitive to proper stack height. not having the proper stack height wears the puller funny, and is accelerated by 3 HD springs, and pretty soon you burn it up as its lower than the servise limit(thinking you arent hurting anything). if you correct the stack height problem right off the get go, you can thrash on it all you want. or that was my personal expirience anyway

that has always been my problem with muzzys, not enough support, its always your fault. If they had things set up better, and took care of their customers more, they would be better off.
Every time I tried talking to them, at a race, they acted like I was a freakin spy.

that or measure each plate and add them up. if you have anti chatter rings, make sure they arent holding the pack apart if you do it all at once

use mm for the clutch. it makes the math way easier as the steels you are swapping in and out to get proper stack height are nice simple (metric) numbers 1.4, 1.6, or 2.0
stack height should be 56.8-57.6mm
when i replaced my clutch this yr for a new set of fibers, using the muzzy steels (2.0) it was low. i think i added about a mm to put to the high end of the spec
if your puller is getting eaten up from low stack height, first bring the stack height back into spec by adding steels. next replace the puller and pusher rods. if one is worn, chances are, the other has rounded corners too. not a bad idea to check the needle bearings by the pusher to make sure they arent bad

I just tried to change my clutch. As I remember from the last time, I had all 2.0mm steels and all big fibers. No chatter springs and no small friction plate. I think it was 10 fibers and 10 steels. What do you guys think? I didn't have a chance to mess with it but its not adjusting properly. So maybe its the stack height. But the pack was the same height as what came out. So whats the best combo for the best height?

Stock.
I then use a thick steel when mine starts to wear down a hair, to keep the lock up in tune , but that is after about 200 passes when it starts to go down.

A lot of guys believe in this or similar and have proog. This is what I have in stock (20) 2.0mm steels, (20) big fibers, (2) small fibers, (1) small steel, stock clutch springs, chatter springs. I really would like to use this stuff and not buy anything else. I'm 250lbs, 300mm tire, street riding, ocassional rolling burnout and street racing. Tried the dragstrip and ran a 7.05 my first time grannie shifting and letting off early because I could not see. I would like to try it again but with the extra weight and having to work on the weekends it may not be practical. But I would like to run at least a 6.30. What can I do with what I have? I think I have some zx6 springs somewhere.

Are the chatter rings included in the stack hgt. measurement????Or do you just measure the fibers and steels then add the rings as you assemble???Just checked my clutch pack and had a hell of a time trying to get it within spec....Tried all combinations and just wouldn`t get to range.....Finally went with 2.23 and not satisfied with that....(no rings in)...If I put the rings in it was way thick...Lemme know clutch brother....

Get it into spec of what mtc says the clearance should be between the hat and arms.
Everyone makes the clutch way to complicated.

compress the anti chatter rings to measure the whole pack (give it a squeeze). stock stack height will be wrong for the lock up (or it was with mine and dads). we had to add a bit to get in the recommended clearance of .100 to .125 (std) mtc lists
