False Neutral
Yes, it's another thread started by me. But, y'all should notice that I'm no longer a car-parking peon. Now, I'm just a peon.
Now to my question. I was just wondering if anyone else has notice this problem or if anyone can give me a reason why my bike is doing this. Occasionally, when shifting from 5th to 6th gear, my 2001 12 (silver...just in case it matters) makes a rattling noise and then pops into a false neutral. It's happened about 4 or 5 times now. The first couple times it happened, I just ignored it. But, now it's happened one too many times to call it a fluke.
Since I'm still breaking in my bike, I've only been riding in the lower rpm ranges. (<4000 rpm) Anyone know what might be causing this? Should I have the dealer take a look at it?

Oops. Sorry for the mess. I forgot to do a search of previous threads. It looks like this topic was already covered on June 22.
