Lowering ZX12R

I'm 5'10" and when i sit on my zx12r i am on my tippy toes, of course i can't stand this after riding a zx9r for two years and being flat footed. The ? is, Has anyone here lowered their zx12r? How many inches? and how has it affected the the way the bike rides and handles?

I have my lowered with Muzzy Link... Middle hole works good for me... Also dropped it at the tree an inch.... I would personally recommend Kennedy links though you can adjust them without removing a bolt. Just wrench them up and down...

I purchased the Spencer Cycle Lowering links, for a 2002 12, for only $35 plus shipping. Lets you drop it down 2-3 inches.

I havent put them on yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do. I'm 5'10" and hurting too on the tall height of the bike.

The Kennedy links had a problem with the threads pulling out of the aluminum center piece. If that's been reengineered with a stainless piece, I'd say go for them!
