muzzy stealth jetting
What's the spread for this kit. Does it follow the NOS chart?
Got a used kit and getting all sorts of information on jetting.
I'd like to try a 70 -80 HP shot.
Who KNOWS what the jetting should be?

The kit was shipped with a conservative 50 hp set of sapphire jets, # 14 fuel jets and #16 nitrous jet. These were selected because it was safe and allowed you to get a feel for the system before you went up on the power. It seems to me I remember running something like 25-27 at the track, But the only thing I'm certain of is the initial setup as the kit was shipped. I have the original instructions, (which I wrote). You can get a copy via email from Dave at Muzzys if you need.

Doug, care to comment on why the Stealth kit jetting is so different from NOS.
Example 14f 16n give 50hp where NOS has 16f 16n with high output fuel pump is equal 36hp. I'm not aware of any other kit using larger nitrous jets than fuel. NOS 18-18 =48hp.
What HP did 25-27 produce?

Maybe, but you know what happens when we assume.
I spoke with Johnny Cheese , he was very helpful with a jetting plan,
Now I'd like to hear what Doug has to say about the kit.
I can't think of anyone that would know more about this kit than those 2!

I really don't know. I just looked at my draft copy of the instructions to get the information. What you say does make sense, there could have been an error that was later corrected. I was purposefully vague as I don'thave any notes on the tuneup or access to the dyno sheets. I am sure that the system hardware was complete, went together well and worked as advertised, though. The jet sizes were pretty much left up to the user. Sorry, that's the extent of what I know at this point.

Thanks Doug,
I appreciate your time.
The planning that went into this kit is obvious at first glance, and I'd hate for it to be wasted.
Just want all the info I can get before I do something stupid and everyone knows it's stupid except me .
Plan is to jet for 80 hp based on the NOS chart , and make adjustments from there.
