Does this sound familair?
In an effort to get out of 'parking attendant' territory, I'm doing my best to keep up the post count. So here's another one.
I was just wondering if this story sounds familiar to anyone. A couple of years ago, I was riding around with my girlfriend on the back. At the time, my Ninja 1000R was pristine. During the ride, my lady tells me that she has to go tinkle and points to this little porta potty next to a gravel parking lot. So, stupid me turns into the parking lot. I had to make one tight turn.... the gravel washed out the front end, and next thing I knew was that I was on my back, and the bike and my lady were down. Two thoughts immediately came to my mind (in this order):
1. Fuck!!!! My bike!!!
2. I guess I should ask (name witheld out of bitterness) if she is ok.
I heard a similar story from a guy I met at the Corbin shop. The only difference is that it was his daughter on the back of his bike.

hell, dude...try washing out on yer own on a heavy traffic road, or forget that yer kick-stand is 'up', or grabbing too much front brake on your wet driveway, or pop a wheelie and realizing that you really don't know how to wheelie, or a stoppie...the list goes on, but it wasn't me DOH!

I dropped my bike while on soft dirt 2 weeks ago...the only thing that saved it from damage was my hulk-like endorphin/testosterone rush when the thought hit me that if I didn't stand it upright, it would cost me major bucks.

I wasn't talking about dropping the bike. Everybody does stupid things or gets unlucky and drops their bike. The whole point of the story is that I dropped the bike with my girlfriend on the back, and I was more pissed off about the bike than I was worried about the chick.
I guess everyone here thinks so much alike that thinking like that is normal around here.

You can tell I'm still relatively new to this board, because when I read this post nothing about tits even crossed my mind. I was gonna ask if she gave good reach-arounds. Oh well, as Nano says, someday I'll have my priorities straight.

My wife has same problem, & you have to account for the weight shifting when entering parking lots. Sometimes she will lean over to get a look over the shoulder, & not only hear body lean effects the bike, but the "tit-shift" gives a secondary "twitch."
If your on gravel, this can cause a bail. I shit you not...

hey Wannabe, i got one even better for ya, fortunatley I was riding by myself, and in my defense I was 15 at the time. While out riding up and down the street practicing so that when i got my liscense I could go and ride and be comfortable. Well after about 30 minutes of riding up and back down the street, I had came to the intersection and was doing my U turn, when all of a sudden I was laying on my back. When I looked up all I could do was freak out, for I realized i had just dropped my dad's bike, my dad's pristene 1958 Harley Sportster.....the only good thing, and the only thing that allows me to sit here and type this to you all is that I did infact have his permission to ride it, I cant imagine if i hadnt. Can you all imagine crashing yer dads motorcycle, the motorcycle that he rode to the hospital the night you were born.....lol didnt mean to ramble, hope ya all enjoy my little piece of horrible fate....lmao later all Jim

It looks like Wannabe has bailed on you guys. Your insenitive questions were more then he could handle. He's probably out buying a digital camera so that he posts pictures of those bit tits along with getting a sports bra to slow sound the secondary tit shift. Of course could also be parking cars too.
