This sux. All Nicky has to do is keep finishing second. I'd like to see the Honda sieze up or something.

Yeah it really sucks! All Bostrom needed to do is win more races and have more consistant top three finishes! Short of a miracle or bad injury Hayden has it. And he deserves it.

Deserves it? LOL. Now there's a concept. I can't think of a champion that didn't!!!

Bostrom is on an inferior bike. It's plain to see. Those RC51's have the rule advantage. Bostrom is riding his ass off. Something need to be done. The weight advantage is with the RC51 and Hayden hang's back waiting for Bostrom's tire's to go away. And he pick's his spot.

Don't get me wrong Hayden is damm fine rider. I'd like to see them on the same type bike. And see what happen's.

It is intersting all the talk about the V-twin advantage. I agree it seems to have it. But what I don't get is that when the AMA and WSB all started talking about up the inline displacement it was not Ducati or for that matter Honda that was against it. Kawasaki and Suzuki voted against it.

If the V-twin is so superior why is it that Suzuki who has the TLR 1000 platform to work with has done nothing with it. It really is about egos and engineering philosophy. It is obvious that Suzuki and Kawasaki share the same ideas as they are now married in a sense.

I personally would like to see the Superbike class be just that run what you brung. Just has to be a hologated chasis. That said the truth is the results will be the same. The winning teams win becasue of comitment. And displacement is not going to overcome that. And as it is proven every weekend of racing bigger displacement does not meen faster on the track. It is not the formula extreme bikes that own the track records. Although, they probably could at Daytona.
