I also need to know how to increase the top speed from 186mph.......i've fitted the muzzy bonneville box but what sprocket should i fit at the rear?;and what increase will i get please

unless they'v changed it for ur year bike (01 or 02), the gearing gives 199mph at redline stock. but u wont have enough power to do that stock anyway, so changing gearing for top speed wont help unless u got signigicant power mods. but if u got power to spare, less teeth on the rear sprocket and/or more on the front sprocket will give u higher potential gearing.

Actually, the stock gearing gives 194 at redline. This has been verified by numerous people on a dyno. I've had a 43t rear sprocket on my 1270. With that sprocket, the 1270 felt about as powerful as a stock 12, but was ohmygod fast up on top.

that for all years swft? i thought the muzzy test bike back when that did 199.somehting mph was stock gearing.
