REMOVAL Question

i started the bike for a while to charge the battery the other day ,, and i guess i didnt wait long enough for it to cool,, and as a result the cover melted on the pipe,, not much,, a section about the size of a silver dollar,, QUESTION : how do i get it off without scratching or hurting the finish of the Midpipe?

I would do what Seth said followed by oven cleaner the old fashioned choke your ass kind
Just get the pipe hot again and put some oven cleaner on a white rag
It will take the blue off headers to an extent.....just dont get it on anything you want to keep that isnt steel or stainless.........it will eat aluminum my .02
