If your not dragracing, don't worry about it. The Muzzy/Falicon basket kits are more trouble than they are worth....

I disagree with Dave. I have seen and heard of the clutches giving out with less than severe abuse. My clutch in my 02 took pretty good abuse but in the end I needed to replace everything, sttels fibers springs and hub. After that it was bullet proof, my 01 actually has the same steels fibers and hub that was in the 02....Litterally, when I crashed the 02 they were taken out and put in this bike when Crashtech had it. He put numerous miles on the bike afterwards and I have put a few on it since I have had the bike, and it still works perfectly.
My opinion is ride your bike as it is, when the time goes to put new clutches in it, do the whole thing, then forget about it.....you will get a ton of miles out of the clutch after you put in all the goodies. My 01 has a Falicon Basket, Muzzy steels, fibers, and outter hub. And if I am not mistaken, Roger did some oiling improvemnts to it as well......all in the name of dependability.....

Depends on how you ride the bike.........
Guys who abuse it, need more pressure, swear by the muzzy stuff.........
I use only stock parts, and had a clutch make almost 1000 dragstrip passes......., purple steels and all, still using those purple steels, and new fibers.....
take care of it, and you will be fine........

yea it really depends on how you ride it... do you do a lot of wheelies? or speed shift a lot... if so you should invest in the billet basket! I have seen way to many baskets give up! but if your just street riding or going flat out and not doing the above you should be ok...
