1361 for Dougmeyer

How well will the 1361 kit handle the system.

Hey Doug,

I'm considering this one for sure. How will the transmission hold up, for that matter will the tranny be a weak link? I am also considering the 1270cc package. Any thoughts? Which will produce more power and reliability?

Thanks,

Tony D

What an engineering job! I just love the fact it's a "Stealth" kit; all hidden clean out of sight. I take it this is used with those mini-bottles that fit under the seat (after tray removal.)

Hehe...I can see it now... "Got a friend with a pesky Busa? Destroy him in the next top gear roll on; & explain it with....oh I just adjusted the valves" ...LOL...

Muzzys does it again....

Ryan told me a couple weeks ago that system could jet for 150+ but I think Muzzys is playing it conservative... he said 300hp is feasable on a 1270 w/pistons when we were talking about it.. although he told me it wouldnt be released until at least fall I guess muzzys put the move on this one and got it out early or something! awesome!

WHO'S FIRST!?

We are currently running the "pro" (progressive with retard) system on a 1270 at about 290 hp with no problems.
I see no reason why a 1361 with the nitrous pistons wouldn't be even more fun, but you play too hard and you gotta pay eventually. Make no mistake, the 100 hp setup is a major hp hit, definitly requires a long arm and progressive control. The system is designed to easily "add on" the progressive control and retard later (along with the recommended pistons, of course) if you get bored with the 50 hp "starter" kit. Like the shifter kits, you get EVERYTHING. All you need is good tools, a Saturday afternoon and some N2O.

The REAL reason the red bike is in the picture.

Because it is in need of this kit the most.

I would imagine the same thing FREEK but as you saw with the muzzy shifter, that weekend you came out,is that if you can't wire up a nos system you shouldn't run nos in the 1st place.I should have saved some money and built a shifter myself.
