F.I. light
I have a couple of questions. I will post them in differnt posts becasue they are differnt problems. BTW, I finally got the new Falicon clutch basket installed and all put back together.
The FI light is still on as it has been for months. I am also noticing a rough jumpy idle. How do I reset this or make the light go off? What needs to be done. It does have a PCIII with a stock map and a Muzzy pipe. WAS UP?

Djones, I would completely disconnect the battery 1st. Then reconnect it and see if that shuts off your FI light. After that you will have to get advice from someone who knows more about electronics that I on this board.

DJONES, I would think the best place to start with any FI problem would be to disconnect the PCIII and see if the problem goes away. If not, check the fault codes to see why it is lighting.
Had a problem with my PCIII and was getting a TPS fault code. Removed the PCIII and problem was gone.

My mate had a problem with his F1 light. With the help of his workshop manuel he done a self diagnostic test and found it to be ERROR 53 (IGNITOR ON # 3 CLCLINDER WAS TOAST). It's now at the dealers getting sorted.
