shit,, i only got 12,000 on mine,,and it feels grindy,, what i mean is it doesnt feel as smooth as when it had less mileage,, i can feel the gearing thru the handlebars,, does that make sense,, could it be in correct chain adjustment,, or something else,, weird

The KEY Word here is STOCK!!!!!!!!!!! 17 is not stock and bends the chain harder. STILL, If you Clean the chain with WD-40 and clean it off and lube the chain you will do a lot better! I used Alisyn which was great all SYN lube that went on thin and set up like grease and now I use BelRay that leaves a White Lithium Grease Coat. WHen the chain sits for a period there is no rusting as it does from the Rain and Hudmitity if you only use WD-40

I thought WD40 is bad on O-rings and therfore should not be used on chains.

OH Oh, YOU DOne it now!! There are those here that will Swear that is ALL you will ever need! They are partly right IMHO because a lot of the wear comes from Dirt and keeping the chain clean removes the Dirt.

Water Displacement Formula 40 is just that and helps to stop rust, It does not act as a cushion between the rollers and sprockets
