oil cooler/oil sight glass cleaning
Alright all you engine gurus, how do you take apart the sight glass to clean it out? After I took the clip off,I blasted it with the air gun and the lens still won't pop out.
How do you clean the internals of the oil cooler to get any junk out?I blew that out with an air gun but didn't seem to get any oil out. The reason I'm asking these questions is because of a bearing failure and now I want to insure everything is clean.

I have a solvent tank at work but am not too comfortable with how clean the fluid is.I didn't think it would clean the cooler but just degrease it.On the sight glass,it should be removable if it is held in place with a clip.I would just feel better if I could get in there and wipe it clean.
