HEY MadMike your company sucks
My battery finally died so I went looking for a replacement. The Interstate FAYTX20H-BS fit great with only "slight" mods to the battery . It specs out at 310CCA appossed to the 200CCA stocker. Before I installed it I charged it and tested it with my Snap-On AVR and it pulled 411 @12.5V
WHAT THE HELL ???
How do companies come up with CCA ratings anyways cuase this number seems "OFF"
Hey it was $87.50CA ( plus communist fees of course ) my cost so I am not complaining but are the numbers all just as bad with all bike battery manufactures ?

what was the temperture at the time you tested it? I believe cca clod cranking amps is measured in cold temp something like 32 degrees F. In hot or normal temps it will higher than rating. But than again I could be wrong.

LOL... Hey I am not ignoring ya... I have been super busy... and motorcycle/automotive batteries are not my main chemistry responsibility (Im the primary/secondary guy)... so I will have to look up exactly what you need to know... I had a guy quit on me so I have been in the warehouse, but I will try and get you a correct answer tomorrow...
and from what I can give you initally the YTX20-BS is rated as you say but CCA is calculated at 0deg F -18dC so I am going to assume that you tested it at room temp... which will have something to do with it. also(and I am not sure this is the case here!!!) I am not familiar with the Snap-ON AVR tester, but I know that there are quite a few quick/load testers that when used on different batteries come up with different results due to the factory settings for the internal resistance of the battery... I hope this helps, and If I can get a graph or something I will post it for ya!
