I don't think the person was trying to decieve...just looking at the speedo and reading some hype. A lot of people believe the speedo tells you how fast the bike can go!

What are you talking about He did not say rear wheel HP or what said 225 MPH. 175 SAE HP is about 183 STD HP and add just 10% for mechanical losses to the rear wheel and you have 201 "STD ENGINE HP! No Lie there! I have seen over 225 on my SPeedo on a public road!
Last, for a Harley Guy I am sure it scared the beJesus out of him because the only way he could ride it was with a drink or two! and for $3,500 to $4,000 that is a great deal

Whatever, no one tries to sell a bike giving crankshaft horsepower. You and I both know that. He also said it will go over 200 mph. He did say it will show 225 mph he said it will do 225 mph. That is out and out incorrect..
Last he didnt say crankshaft HP either. He's still a dufus who obviously doesn't know squat about a ZX12R..

It's not about smarts, its about being truthfull when your trying to sell something. Hopefully someone who believes this guys BS wont buy into it and then be dissapointed when the bike doesn't live up the expectations and claims made..

Tony, "WE" All know that! but this is a Harley GUY! "Doing the Ton" (Going over 100 MPH) is a Big deal for them! Of course to US He is an IDIOT, to his friends, he has taken a Rocket Ship to outter space and returned alive and now selling the bike so he can stay alive!
Last, You also know that to Harley Riders, the Bike will do what ever the SPeedo has on the bike no matter how slow the bike is or how little of the speed you have seen!
BTW, Kawasaki does advertise Crank HP when they talk about what HP the bikes make in their Advertising brochures.
