cant get my power commander to work
several tries on and off the bike now, and I cant pick up the power commander with the computer. I have the correct software downloaded from dynojet (for the A modles 2000 and 2001) for the PC3r
Im assuming it has the zero map (or map for a stock bike)in it as it didnt make any difference at the drag strip.
I have a full Muzzy pipe sitting beside the bike and a Muzzy fan on the way and I need to get another map in the bike when I loose the stock header!
if it means anything, im looking at it right now and its been plugged in for a few min to a 9v power source (off the bike) and the little LED has moved up from the bottom (lean) to just above the middle(towards rich). it does the regular little "light show" when its turned on, and the LED at the bottom turns on(lean) then it creeps up (towards rich)
the sticker on the bottom of the pc reads:
204-310
2-07-06
on the back the sticker reads:
M204-001.Map
(map for stock bike)
Any tips???? I dont want to blame someone for ripping me off yet, I want to get this to work!

sounds like a button may be sticking.
use your finger nails to pull up on each button on both sides.

The PC3R "MUST" Be plugged into your bike and "YOUR BIKE RUNNING" for it to work and see it on your computer. once you see it, you can use the Kill switch and up load a map but it MUST Be running to start!

Yes, and once the software sees the PC3r, you can hit the kill switch if you want to set the TPS.

it's been a minute but i believe you can hit the starter ,
when the headlight comes on the pc3 is energized.
