8.790 @ 159.1 is the best i have gotten out of my 68" NA 1427 on a lazy 1.49 60'
bike + rider weight = 750#
But more typical was 8.8's @ 155-156.
I ran into a bunch of gremlins and was breaking parts; been more than a year since i spent any time at 1/4 mile, but i am getting back to it this summer.
Wolf Racing is at a level of building/racing that I aspire towards.

Entropy. Cooolll.
We should be quicker as we are at a low 640lbs!!!. Bike is 450lbs ready to go.
Our best 60 is a 1.45. 68".
We are still learning.
ZRexpilot. Nice. We never ran a stock motr at 64" but went 8.9 at 148 at 64" with 1427cc.
Here's a bit of weight reduction for ya and weight movement to the front.

Madmike....drillin was a labour of love!! Drove me nuts. On the outside of the clutch is a puller rod support. We made our own puller rod and support to stop the actuator getting drilled.
JSCARB2.... Our 1427 does 5.68 @ 127mph to 1/8 at 68". We have 1498cc in the Muzzys Pro Stock Bike engine, but that's another world.
park12r....Yes Blue Muzzys.
cheers all,

How is your 1427 holding up.........
When I build, I am going to build big..........
But, your bike is only running a couple mph more than me in the 1/8........., ??????
I have stock motor and all..........All my quarter mile times at 68 " were limited to wheel spin due to stock shock and not so good top end.........
9.24 at 148 in 104 degree heat, but that was last year, and on the limiter........, with a busted tranny, and stock shock........
Got lots of goodies this year, and fixing to try them out...........
How many passes are you getting out og that motor..................
Karl, TFA is moving, holy cow !!!!!!!!!!!!
My bike with me on it weighs 695!!!!!!!, and thats with me 175 suited............
No drilled frame though..............HOLY COW look at all the holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nox, the 1427 has been no trouble at all. We have had it running for around 5 years now. One set of rings. we have replaced the crank twice, but that was our fualt. Both were oil starvation.
with the shock, we put an 850lb spring in it and had the compression revalved up by 50%. that fixed it. when we went to NOS, we went to a 1150lb spring.
Yes we are too slow over the 1/8. we are not sure why yet. 1.45 60 foot is probably most of it.
woppi, stock rims with stock disks and brakes. bolts? we try not to use them!
