steve,
as proud owner of 3500 posts in 6 months, i commend you on your prolific (athough generally vacuous) use of your keyboard.

A little caution on slamming Mr Hill.

Vincent and I argue/discuss plenty, but I 110% respect his experience and knowledge.

When Mr Hill posts a warning, you would do well to think it through rather than knee-jerking a bunch of post-count-inflating-mockery.

The cautious optimism which i was reserving for you in the hope you might someday offer a useful contribution has evaporated.

good luck on puffing up your post count.

Ta ta, lightweight.

WOW! I did not realize 14 owners were so sensitive.

sensitive? huh? I usually don't even keep a bike a whole year. I'm never sensitive to a bike nor do I have any brand loyalty? And I doubt I'll have the 14 much longer.

Wow!? You folks over here are killing me with all this (and confusing me!)

Entropy you assume I care about "total" post counts? Thats funny. Although yes I do postwhore, total posts mean little to me in comparison to investment numbers and savings and such.

Wow, "sensitive" was mentioned. You mods are about the sensitive folks huh. Let me remind myself this is the "Internet". All I posted was "interesting thread in ZX14" and I'm attacked.

As far as "lightweight", the name calling and judging on the Internet I just can't take serious. That kind of behavior is like the special olympics, no matter who wins every is still 'tarded.

OK, ta-ta Entropy.

You confuse easily. Allow me to complicate it even further....

It could be said that I'd no more "qualify" as "folks over here" anymore than I'd "qualify" as "folks over there" (on the ZX-14 forum). I do not own either a ZX-12R or a ZX-14. Traded my 12R for a 10R over three years ago.

Interestingly, I also could just as easily say I qualify as BOTH "folks over here" and "folks over there". As it would be understandable that I am a Moderator on the 10R forum, but strangely enough, I do the same on the 12R and 14 forums.

BTW - Thanks for making my conjecture more of a hypothesis.

oh I don't qualify anywhere. However,in reference to which thread, I'm over here at the moment. I wish I could take this Internet as serious as some on either thread. Anyway, glad I could help with your hypothesis.

no prob stir the pot, I can't take this Internet as serious as some, and I enjoy riding my fake 14 on the streets, but not as much as I do dragging my knees on the track bike where racing belongs-

talking about stiring the pot though, wow this thread of mine wound the mods up huh?

Well hey, I'm glad you enjoy your "fake 14" as you put it!

Sorry, no one's impressed about dragging your knee around the track. Hell I've dragged knee on a 92 F2 with 16 year old stock suspension.

LSR, DRAG, Roadracing/track days, I love em all just about equally. To each their own.

What a lot of people do not know is I have known about this for over a month and was back and forth about it because I did not want to put anyone through all of this INCLUDING MYSELF. The Bottom Line was when I spoke to the Guy and If I was on a Jury listening to him, (I have been on Jury's and the Foreman once) he was Creditable. THAT is when I decided the amount of Trash I would have to take was less than living with myself if even "1" Person had this happen to them. Take a Careful look at what Brock said about the frame in that area. I was not so kind.

I have spoken to Steve in Daytona and no problem there. It is a free country to do as you please (Otherwise imagine what they would have done to me by Now!)

See you guys on my ZXR1100 in June at MIR Hopefully get that Rag into the 11's at over 3/8 TON with "ME" Riding it!

Mr Hill thanks, and I'll say again for all to read I don't intend to be mean and sure I'll debate either way on something for the sake of debate. Even my "frames snapping" comment was meant to be humerous not an attack against you or anyone.

To you others: Wow, this ZX12R forum is a tough crowd huh- I'm being hammered for my post count, my ZX14, my BS threads posted just for the sake of chat, my track riding, and for being "sensitive". But again its all good, again I can't take the net serious. Hope to meet some more of you from Bikeland in the near future too.

Steve, I saw the Smilie on that comment! I think more than anything you took out of it what was meant to be and then enjoyed the Others that only saw RED . Over here, "YOU" are known by the Company you keep !! and that Company only Jumps on the Messenger and forgets the message! What Karl was saying is 100% true, I am very Serious about Motorcycles and Kawasaki's in Particular. I speak against what I do not like and for what I do Like and when I see anything that may be a Problem, I am on the Roof Top!

In 1970 they did not have the internet but when my H-1 500 caught fire because of the faulty float seats and the High Tension Leads that went through the Base of the engine Leaked Spark the Bike caught on fire. I called Kawasaki and then told a friend of mine who rode a Velocette. His last name was Utaka and his father was the under Secretary of Japan who he told about this and my Crank Problems Just like he knew Shiro Honda he spoke to someone. I have no idea of he really did, but they fixed my bike and Kawasaki's even came out with a Kit to move the wiring to the outside of the Engine. I went through 3 cranks and 1 was after warranty in Toledo Ohio where the dealer opened up the store on a sunday and handed me the Crank which I put in myself and my dad took the Old one back because I was ridding back to Washington DC with the New Crank. I have never backed off of anyone or anything including Kawasaki. There are also precious few other bikes I would ever ride too

My question to you is have you taken a Careful look at your motor Mounts and the area around the Filter Opening?

----Haha, what, am I supposed to feel bad about having rocked a 92 CBR 600 at track days? No way. I'm not a rich guy (anyone who's knows me knows that) so I do what I can with what I can. I didn't go out and buy a zx14 either, I kept my 12 and TIED a turbo ZX14 at the Texas Mile.

Last I checked your sig shows a CBR 600, just a newer gen for someone with more money than me, big deal. I drive a friggin TEAL GEO METRO BRO! You think I care about image?!?

Tell me, how have you faired with your 600rr and your 14. Post some numbers, impress us! Here I'll go first:

7.3 @ 98 mph in the 1/8 mile on the F2
6.3 @ 120 mph in the 1/8 mile on the zx12

Your turn! Tell me how much faster your newer bikes are than my old predecessors! Really! I feel so ashamed knowing I spent less than 1/2 as you and could still stick with you if not pass your ass. Don't forget to mention your weight too so we can figure out what you'd probably run if you HAVEN'T EVER RUN EM LIKE THAT! I have never had a 600 walk away from me on the straights at a track day except for ONE 636....ONE!

Not that the numbers really mean much....again you spent MORE than I did, thats it! Tell me, how quick and how fast is your 14 again with you on it?!?

Tank you come again.

It ain't about the money or how fast the bikes are bro..... it was about "Entropy actually owns a REAL 14 and you're riding a 1352?" and then you post giligans boat.

Truthfully I'd enjoy a track day with you and I like that bike. I like watching the vintage bike races as well. I was just commenting on your "1352" comment

zrex,
i know you've been workin' it, and i'm certainly not getting on on yr case.

Congrats on yr wins and yr persistance.

I'm just making the tongue in cheek point that we should support all true enthusiasts, especially including VH, no matter what their "stats" are, what they ride, or how long it takes them to get their shit together (VH).

And you are correct, i haven't been out playing in the TXO lately. Been concentrating on learning to build my own motors.

http://www.superstreetbike.com/features/122_0444_200_mph_club/index.html

This was 2 years ago when I set 3 Land SPeed Records in 1 afternoon. The Other guy came in and rode a Busa of the #1 Land Speed Racer in the COuntry Scott Gutherie on a Bike Fullt set up and nothing spared and he was only able to go 2+ MPH Faster and a Lot Smaller person too boot! Of Course when you are in your 60's, like everyone else in their 60's I am sure you will be building and Riding a Bike that goes MUCH Faster. BTW, I have been on ESPN and the Cover of a Magazine and on the front page of some News Papers. Where are your Write up's Mr. ZREX Pilot?

It is Very easy to either take your bike "Somewhere" and have Others do the work or Follow the Path of "Others" and simply copy what they do. It is a lot different Story to come up with something different and THEN Make it work specially with an Extremely limited Budget and work at a full time Job every day! Just wait about 30 years and then let us see just how much energy and time you have to do just the "Little" I do?? We keep hearing your mouth, but I have never ever read anywhere except these Boards what you have done! SHOW US or STFU
