Texas Mile Shutdown Area?

I haven't been able to find a map of the course. How much distance to you have to slow the bike down, after the lights?

About 1/2 a mile shut down.....

but it could be 3 miles....you still ain't coming .... right? So what do you care bish?

Yancy or Guthrie has gone 250+ there....I think you'll be fine with your 180ish runs haha

1st shutdown at Maxton is at about .5 miles. I found it a little sphincter-tightening to make at 180+. And my rotors weren't too thrilled with it either.

I am not as experienced at racing as the people you mention.

I may be running at TX this month.

Well, I found all the info just by reading the online info. Duh!

I will just have to be a little more aggressive on the brakes. It's not so easy to stop, for us fat guys!!!

Fortunately your slowness will help offset some of that weight!

Yep like shiphteey shutdown is about a half mile. If you have an emergency and can't get stopped you have another approx. 1/8th mile of grassy/dirt road before you get into some serious off roading.

That's pretty cool. Also, your avatar is incredibly offensive.

Shane, check your Vmail mafacka! If you're in for TX get at me quickly so we can lock it in. Hotel/motel crap, etc. My dad was gonna split the driving with me but I may kill him on the way, a fellow LSR guy would be better company!

Truck is ready, trailer is ready, both have spare tires. Expect no worst than 20 mpg and no better than 25 mpg (what with you and your 12 so much heavier than me and my 12, haha).

TB: Is that the 1400 hp one heading out from FL? Word was he was trying to line up w/a Bugatti? I think Full Tilt would want in on that action if it ever goes down....and if they ever need a chase bike....

A.
