I just talked to Mike
He sounds in very good spirits, very good. Truly a man full of optimism and that makes me very happy. He said the response and support from people has been nothing short of amazing. He had surgery last night again on his leg and elbo, they still haven't sowed up the leg yet. He said Roger is coming from Nashville this weekend with big group of people to see him and he is looking into getting transered over to Nashville in the next week or so. It was good to talk to him.

Mark Has...
A friend that has the same injury that Mike suffered and is currently road racing and living a very active life. Mark is oing to have him come and talk to him soon. I think that is great. Keep us posted.

I spoke with Mike also today and he seemed in good spirts! even though I know it is akward for me anyway I dont know what to say, soon we were just talking about my stroker motor and the one he just built right before his trip! and it was a really good conversation he was very happy that everyone is calling and sending letters! Mike is truly a good man and I know he is going to get through this ok, he has a long road ahead of him but he seems like a very tough customer!! Best wishes to mike and may there be a silver lining in this cloud!!!

You guys are to be commended. There is nothing like friends that can visit you. If for no other reason it helps take your mind off of thinking negative about the future. Reassurance is one heal of healer.
