MUZZY CLUTCH SETUP QUESTION....

I am now considering going with the entire clutch setup Basket Hub and all...... Anyone have the part numbers or know exactly what I need to no longer have any clutch problems on a 2000 ZX12..... My bike made 3 runs and before the 4th run with clutch engauged it was still trying to pull... Think the steels may be warped..... It has freeplay.... Doug what do I need to bullitproof it and still maintain street use?????? Thanxxxxxxxxx Everyone who helps.....

ZX12Richard,
to fix your clutch in style just grab yer Visa card and call Muzzy. Get the basket and get the clutch kit.

These parts are necessary for wringing the shit out of yr bike at the track, but warning: they do not give you unlimited clutch plate life unless you are named Kevin Cadby.

I saw yr post about yr pal making some passes then having the bike creep when the lever is pulled in. On my bike this is a SURE sign that the fibers are worn out and the clutch hat is bottoming out in the basket. Continuing to make passes in this condition will 100% sure screw the steels, turning them blacker than my ex-wife's heart, AND even worse, yr 60's will go South.

Yep just give Muzzy's a call, 541-385-0706, the new Basket and hub is definatly the set up. also you can buy the steels and fibers directly from Muzzy!!! Entropy is correct though.... if your a lightweight and not really trying to come out hard like Kevin C. (LOL.....Just kidding super 60'man!!)It might make your clutch bulet proof, but if your as big as Entropy or Myself this will not bulletproof your clutch but it will put a big hunk of armor up and allow you to last alot!!!! longer! also avaliable is the Lockup which I am running now Im still experimenting with the set up but I believe it is going to make my clutch last ALOT longer!!

Clutch hub kit Retail $299 www.Muzzys.com
Billet Basket Retail $365 www.faliconcranks.com
Extra clutch puller rod Retail $12 www.ronayers.com

The Muzzy hub is a complete clutch setup. Nothing else to order. The Falicon basket is dynamically balanced. Dont know if the Muzzy's one is
Obviously the puller rod is something to consider having on hand because it fatigues easier with lots of racing!
